Castlehill EYC Aims

SAFE – ensure all staff are aware of up to date policy and procedures, to ensure children’s needs are met in the safest environment possible for them. Staff must actively listen to children and act on their concerns or worries to protect our children and families from risk or harm.

HEALTH– To provide children with a healthy varied diet and take into consideration all medical and dietary requirements.

ACTIVE – to provide an inclusive environment for all children both indoors and outdoors.

NURTURING–to provide an environment that promotes positive relationships and develops strong emotional wellbeing through giving the correct support at the right time.

ACHIEVING - to provide an environment that celebrates us all as individuals including the achievements of our staff and wider community.

RESPECTED- Continue to build secure attachments between our staff, children, their immediate and extended families and the wider community.

RESPONSIBLE– To strive to support and encourage children to become confident, resilient and to develop their self-esteem.
